Join Menuhin Competition’s jurors Brian Lewis and David Kim together with Austin-based flautist, Marianne Gedigian for for this special lunchtime concert at the Blanton Museum. The programme combines classic favourites with an Austin premiere. Bach’s Double Violin Concerto, one of Yehudi Menuhin’s favourite works, performed with great violinists like Oistrakh, is followed by the Austin premiere of a contemporary work by Michael McLean.
